Hi, I’m Ananda!

I fell in love with Super 8 after watching my grandparents’ wedding on film from the 50’s. It felt like being transported right back into that day! That moment sparked my love for capturing real, timeless moments. Ever since, I’ve wanted my own Super 8 camera to capture moments that people can look back on for decades and share with future generations.

I got my first camera at six, making little videos of toys, then music videos with friends, and later shooting senior portraits for high schoolers and college students. Now, I use a Super 8 camera from the 1970s to capture weddings and other special moments in a way that feels nostalgic, honest, and lasting! My goal is to capture moments authentically, letting the day tell its own story as it unfolds.

Based in Portland, OR, I’m always happy to travel. In addition to weddings, I love taking on other film projects whether that be music videos, birthdays, events, or any short film. Please feel free to shoot me an email to learn more!

A little bit about Super 8…

Each Super 8 cartridge holds 50 feet of film which turns out to about 3 minutes of footage. It means every second is intentional, thoughtful, and captured with purpose. Super 8 was created by Kodak in 1965 as a home-movie format, designed to make filming family memories simple and beautiful. Today, it carries that same nostalgic charm into modern weddings!
